Molten Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 200g salted Rochefort butter
- 120g nuts
- 115g dark chocolate
- 200g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 140g flour
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and make sure there is a shelf in the middle.
- Line a cake tin with baking paper.
- Roughly chop the nuts.
- Melt the salted Rochefort butter and chocolate over a low heat and mix until combined.
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until they are light and fluffy.
- Stir the flour into the egg and sugar mixture.
- Mix in the butter and chocolate and then the nuts.
- Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 35 minutes.
To check to see if it is cooked properly, insert a knife into the middle of the cake, if it comes out without any chocolate on it, it’s cooked!
