Apple Crumble
For the crumble:
- 120g Rochefort butter
- 150g flour
- 120g sugar
- 4 tablespoons ground almonds
- Pinch of salt
1. Rub the ingredients together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- 1.5kg firm-fleshed apples
- 80g salted Rochefort butter
- 100g sugar
2. Caramelise the apples, sugar and salted Rochefort butter in a large frying pan.
3. Transfer them to an ovenproof dish.
4. Spread the crumble mixture on top and bake at 150 degrees for about 30 minutes.
5. Serve warm as a snack or as a dessert with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream...
